Moderate - A mixture of glen, coastal and moderate hill walking. Much of the walking is on existing tracks and trails, with some on open moorland. Up to 1,500 feet (500 m) ascent, eight miles (13 km). Walking time - up to seven hours a day, including rests. For most moderately fit people of all ages.

The beautiful region of Mayo encompasses the mountains surrounding Clew Bay which are dominated by the stately Croagh Patrick. During the week you will travel to the northwest of the region to the stunning Achill Island and south to Killary Fjord. There is a splendid mix of coastal walks and mountain valleys.
