| Details |
The first few days are based in a tranquil setting on Brandon Bay where you will explore the Macha na Bo valley into the heart of the mountains, Brandon Point and Sauce Creek jutting into Tralee Bay and Mount Brandon itself, in my opinion, the finest mountain in Ireland .
The last four nights are based in Dingle town, where you will be able to explore my favorite Kerry town. (For those who enjoy Irish traditional music, you will have a field day, with a choice of music in the many traditional bars.) Walks will be around Slea Head at the very western tip of the peninsula, over Croagh Marghin with a glorious view over the western reaches and if the sea is calm, Great Blasket Island one of the finest walks in the southwest of Ireland. |
