Maeve, who was born in Ireland , has grown up in the travel industry. She has spent the last 14 years as the Vice-President of Gaffney Travel. All total she has worked in the travel industry for 25 years, with some of her previous experience at American Airlines. She has served on Advisory Boards with American Trans Air, the Moraine Valley Community College/Travel Program and three terms on the board of Mast Vacation Partners, an elite group of Midwest Travel Agencies. In addition she is an active member in the Oak Lawn Chamber of Commerce. Although the main focus of Maeve's job is in the management of the agency she does handle a small clientele and is available to consult with her staff on the destinations that she herself has visited.
