Kathleen Gaffney , President of Gaffney Travel Inc., was born in Co. Leitrim, Ireland . After graduating college and working for a short time, Kathleen immigrated to Chicago in 1957. She and her husband, Noel founded Gaffney Travel in 1969. The agency was initially established to assist the ethnic Irish community in Chicago with their travel plans. Today, under her guidance, Gaffney Travel, has grown to be one of the largest agencies in the US selling travel to Ireland . Kathleen prides herself on the hard earned reputation of Gaffney Travel in providing quality travel advice, excellent customer service and good value for their clients travel dollar. Regardless of the many changes in the travel industry, she continues to strongly believe in being a full service agency to her clients, providing them with the ability to book all destinations and all types of travel products. Kathleen continues to handle clients to Ireland and especially excels in working with groups to Ireland .
